Overview
Bistrack users will transmit outbound files to the LBMX server and retrieve inbound files from the LBMX server using a single SFTP (secure file transfer protocol) connection.
To facilitate this, LBMX will set up an account on its server, and then provide the member with the connection credentials and instructions for exchanging files between the member’s server and LBMX’s server. LBMX will place a file on its server for the member to retrieve. Please contact support@lbmx.com if you do not have your username and password.
SFTP Connection
BisTrack clients will need to access the System Manager application and access the eBusiness Setup panel.
Update your Incoming Transport Host and Outgoing Transport Host options on the Message Format Options tab.
- For clients specifically using Lumbermens eBusiness integration, the LMC message format will be used.
- For all other BisTrack clients using LBMX, the XML message format will be used.
You will need to make two changes for any host currently configured to use lmcdi.lmc.net or ftp5.lbmx.com
- Host name: update to ftp.lbmx.com
- Host type: select SFTP from pulldown
