What is the timeline to get started?
- After you have confirmed your connection method with a Supply Cloud Account Executive, our implementation team works with you over a 6-week period to curate your product data before we get it on Supply Cloud. We will then allocate additional time to secure your connection method, making sure that future updates can be completed quickly and easily.
What pieces of product data are recommended to get started?
- The fields that we request are the most common ones found on big business eCommerce websites: Product Description, Features, Dimensions, Material, and Colour. We provide additional field recommendations depending on the types of products you carry.
How do I control which SKUs my trading partners can view?
- The simple answer is you don’t. We require suppliers to load their full SKU list into Supply Cloud for all trading partners on the platform, both existing and potential. This future-proofs your data, giving Supply Cloud trading partners access to any SKU information they require, and provides new and existing trading partners with the ability to add any accessible SKU to their eCommerce sites.
How do I signal which SKUs are available and which are not?
- Two of our required fields are, “Show Online Start Date” and “Show Online End Date”. This allows you to control which SKUs will be pushed to your trading partners’ eCommerce sites, and which ones will be removed. When you set an end date that is upcoming in the next 30 days, your trading partners will receive a notification via KPI that alerts them to the expiring items.
