This guide describes how to add new users and manage user permissions in the LBMX Trade or Supply Cloud platform.

Adding New Users
⚠️ Account AdministrationIn order to add new users to your account you must have the Administration > User Administration permission set. To gain access to this permission set please contact support@lbmx.com |
- To create a new user hover over the Administration and select User Administration

- If you are creating a new user with the similar permissions as an existing user it is recommended you Copy an existing user. Follow the steps below replacing "New" with "Copy".
- Click New
- Click New
- Add the new user's First and Last Name, Username (email), and User Role, then click Permissions
- Tip: New users should ensure notification@lbmx.com is not being restricted by anti-spam software or routing to a junk folder in their inbox

- Fully open the permission tree for any permission you would like this user to have, check off all relevant permissions
- Tip: If you do not want this user to be able to manage their own permissions or create new users ensure Administration > User Administration is not active

- Once you have all permissions selected for this user click Submit
- An email will be sent to the user prompting them to set up their user profile
- Note: You will not be able to add or remove permissions until the user has completes their profile setup
Updating User Permissions
- To update permissions for an existing user navigate to Administration and select User Administration

Select the target user and then click Edit
- Then click the Permissions tab and fully open the permission tree for any permission you would like to edit, then check or uncheck all relevant permissions
- Click Submit and the changes will take place immediately
- The effected user will not be notified of any changes to their permissions
Removing User Access
- To remove a user navigate to Administration and select User Administration

Select the target user and then click Delete
- Then confirm the deletion of this user
- Once you have confirmed the user will lose access immediately

Maintain Member Users

Adding New Member Users
- To Add a user on a connected member account navigate to Administration and select Maintain Member Users
- Your options in this menu will vary depending on what features your account includes
- Your options in this menu will vary depending on what features your account includes
- Click New
- Select which Member Account this user will be added to
Note: Only members who have opted into the "Login As" function will be listed here - Complete the user setup the same way as described in Adding New Users
- Once you click Submit email will be sent to the user prompting them to set up their user profile
- Note: You will not be able to Login As or add or remove permissions until the user has completes their profile setup
Login As Member User
- To Login As a user on a connected member account navigate to Administration and select Maintain Member Users
- Your options in this menu will vary depending on what features your account includes
- Your options in this menu will vary depending on what features your account includes
- Users who are eligible to be logged in as will have a clickable option beside their name
- Users who have not completed their account setup will not be able to be logged in as
- Users who have not completed their account setup will not be able to be logged in as
- Once you are logged in you will be able to view and user this member's profile exactly as they do
